Corporate Video Production Services

Your Image is Our Business

Before you start, you need to set your objectives for a corporate video by asking yourself three key questions:

1. What business or organisational objective do you want the video to achieve?
2. Who is going to see it?
3. What do you want them to derive from it?

Unless you can answer these three questions authorititively, your corporate producion is going to be hampered. You need to know what you want, why you want it and what it needs to achieve.

Can I afford it?

Many businesses think a corporate video is probably outside their budget. According to a recent statement from the International Visual Communication Association (IVCA);

"...budgets for an 8 minute corporate video programme are averaging at 40K Euro a sector, and one corporate film project, completed in 2001, is rumoured to have been budgeted at over 1.000.000 UKP."

You read that right. £40,000 for an 8 minute production. So let's make this perfectly clear right from the start. You don't have to spend anywhere close to £40,000. We're here to offer you that quality of production for a fraction of the cost.

We can do this because after 13 successful years in business of working with the best, we've won many awards and know exactly how to sensibly manage a budget.

The production process

Quality requires care at each stage of the production of your video. There are four main phases in a video production:

1. Pre-production: research, scriptwriting, planning, casting
2. Production (the shoot): when the video crew, presenters and actors are on site and any computer animation production is in hand
3. Post-production: grading the shots, the first edit (the rough cut), voiceover recording, titling, graphics, compositing, and the final edit (fine cut or online).
4. Replication and Delivery Rollout: copying the video as VHS, CD, DVD, Blu-ray disc, webstream or download, plus cover design, packaging and distribution.

The next step

The next step is to contact us with any questions you may have and to provide us with a "video brief." The video brief:

- Allows our producer to give you an accurate costing
- Informs the scriptwriter so he can come up with creative ideas and meaningful content

One way to create the brief is to brainstorm the topic with the team you've put together in house, but you need to let us know:

  • 1. Who the video is for
    2. What it has to tell them
    3. What are the key issues
    4. Where/how it will be shown
    5. Roughly how long it should be
    6. Whether you will need foreign language versions
    7. When you need it delivering

Unless it is important to do so, you don't need to tell us the style of production you are expecting. It's our job to come up with the creative solutions.
